I would like to comment on my recent experience with Supreme Education, as, to date, it has been exceptionally positive.

I am a British teacher recently returned to London after twenty years in the United States. I found myself referred to the Supreme website while looking for supply work in Lambeth.

My initial contact was with Natalie Livingstone, who was friendly and positive on the telephone and sent me the pre-registration form immediately. Completing this was quite taxing: it is a long and detailed questionnaire! I was impressed, however, by the way that Supreme clearly does want to know all about its teachers. I have completed forms for agencies that are nothing like as exhaustive as this. Following up with Natalie, she listened thoughtfully to my interests and referred me to Rene Okoli. This turned out to be a great move!

I came in for my interview with Rene, and was given plenty of time and his focused attention as I described my experience to him. I liked that he had obviously read my application, and was well-prepared for the meeting. I had many questions that he answered carefully. I went away feeling that Rene really "got it", that he understood who I was and what I was looking for. In later telephone and email contacts he urged me to keep going in the frustrating quest for required paperwork, and also to be patient "there’s never much work in September"…I really appreciated this encouragement.

Yesterday Rene rang me early in the morning, telling me about an interview for a job at a Young Parents’ Programme. I went, and loved it, so Rene then spent all afternoon arranging for me to start on Monday. I am enormously grateful: it seems to be a job in a million, which precisely matches my interests, knowledge and experience.

I will let you know how it goes! In the meantime, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Rene, and his colleagues at Supreme, for handling the job search experience in such a sensitive, supportive and professional way.
