Supreme Education is active in many parts of the public
sector providing a variety of services in the world of
education. We plan to launch our service to LAs in the summer
term of 2005. Launching our service through an LA partnership
will allow temporary teachers to participate in the Teachers
pension scheme and be paid according to scale as their
permanent colleagues.
The majority of experienced teachers working through many
agencies do not get paid to scale, especially towards the
higher end of MPS simply because some schools cannot afford the
cost of an M6 teacher coupled with an agency fee on top.
However, on many an occasion NQTs and other lesser experienced
teachers can be paid well above MPS as schools can find the
costs more affordable. Supreme Education simply wants to ensure
equality for teachers and best value for schools. Working with
an LA together with our recruitment experience and technology
will be an excellent partnership for everybody involved.
Our Management Team's Pedigree
We intend to sit down and talk to LAs and schools to talk
about the solution that best fits their local needs. One size
does not usually fit all, even though some key principles
remain constant. Our management team, prior to joining Supreme
Education, have written policies and procedures that have won
accreditation from the DfES and additionally secured many
preferred supplier agreements with LAs across the country,
including the recent Pan-London Agreement.
