Supreme Education's automated system allows teachers the freedom and choice to accept assignments on the web. Gareth Williams observed, "As soon as a school places a vacancy on our system there is no more need for any human intervention. The technology captures the school vacancy, will automatically shortlist, match and contact a suitably qualified school educator".

Supreme Education's technology doesn't just rely on the worldwide web to provide a large scale supply teacher management service. We have also developed an interactive voice response technology to support our system. Interactive voice response which is the fastest way to add a new vacancy and is used extensively.

Our research suggested that it would be beneficial to the UK education system to offer both methods, to allow schools, teachers and LEAs to have a choice when they use the system. We therefore customised the technology to allow schools to create vacancies and teachers to accept school assignments via the interactive phone system.
